All interested persons may join at any moment at certain entry/exit points until 6:00 p.m.
Participants: all interested citizens of Međimurje, other Croatian counties as well as the neighbouring countries.
Each participant may join the bike ride at one of the points located in:
are located in the centre of the settlement by the main road and are marked by BIMEP posters. The points are attended by the organisational staff wearing BIMEP t-shirts.
When joining BIMEP at any of the points, each participant must complete a registration form.
Participants confirm with their signature that they ride the BIMEP at their own responsibility. Parents/guardians sign the registration form for minors. The attendants at the point (start) issue a diploma and stamp it with the name of the point. By cycling through each point, participants obtain a stamp with the name of that point. There are 16 organised checkpoints in total.
must comply with the provisions of the Road Traffic Safety Act, particularly with regard to cycling and the use of reflective materials. Persons below the age of 16 must wear a bicycle helmet.
The Police Administration of Međimurje will escort larger groups of cyclists at its own discretion or if called. For assistance, see the numbers on the diploma.
In case of bad weather, BIMEP will not be postponed!
